The Northwest Repertory Singers will perform several compositions by acclaimed composer Morten Lauridsen (part-time Waldron Island resident) as part of a special screening of the documentary showcasing his life, “Shining Night,” selected as “People’s Choice” at the 2013 Friday Harbor Film Festival.

The screening is Saturday, Sept. 20, at San Juan Community Theatre.
