Chair Yoga now at the Mullis Center

Dear beloved community, We hope that you are enjoying the longer days and the sweet sign of the new spring. We are delighted to announce that our Zoom-Fit program is back for the season, starting Tuesday, March 4. Join us and get recharged!

Flex, restore, stretch, and breathe! Have fun while learning new ways to exercise and enliven your body. Enjoy an uplifting practice that helps you to regain range of motion and reinvigorate your spirit.

The Mullis Community Senior Center is committed to providing an easy-access online fitness program so that you don’t need to drive to town, which helps save time and money on commutes. It is especially ideal for people who wish to remain in the safety and comfort of their homes.

We offer:

• Chair Yoga, Tuesdays at 9:30–10:10 a.m: A gentle way to get a full body workout. A fun way to activate energy and mobilize the spine and major joints. It focuses on leg and back stretches, both of which are important in slowing down the aging process.

• Balance & Stretch, Thursdays at 9:30-10:10 a.m: Enhance your brain function, coordination, and posture. Extremely effective for fall prevention. Beneficial for leg muscles and knees, ankles and feet joints. It naturally tones your gluteus muscles, which is important for back pain relief.

Katerina’s classes are informative; she specializes in delivering different options so that people find them both easy to follow and challenging enough for people who are seeking to be more active. Here is what participants say about attending her program:

For first-time participants, we invite you to attend your first class FREE!

If you’re unable to join our LIVE Zoom-Fit classes, we also offer an on-demand video program, so you can practice at your own time and pace.

These programs are available to all seniors and disabled adults on a suggested donation basis.
