The San Juan County Republican Party will host its annual Lincoln Day event on Orcas, Lopez and San Juan.

There will be a light luncheon at Orcas’s American Legion Post No. 93 on March 25; dinner at Islander Resort on Lopez on March 31; and dinner at Brickworks on San Juan on April 1. Full details are on sjcrp.org, under “Lincoln Day 2017.”

Herbert Meyer, former senior member of the Central Intelligence Agency under the Reagan Administration, will speak at each event. He is widely credited with being the first person to predict the fall of the Soviet Union and is a popular speaker nationwide.

SJC Republican Party Chairman Nathan Butler and State Committeeman Rick Boucher will attend each event, as well. Vice chair Lynda Gerpheide will attend on Lopez, Secretary Minnie Knych on San Juan, and State Committeewoman Cindy Carter on Orcas. Express your concerns and hopes in person.
