Calling Class of 2027 high school graduates!

If your child was born between Sept. 1, 2008 and Aug. 31, 2009, bring your baby for a group photo on Feb. 27, 2010 — Saturday — at 10 a.m. in Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church.

Kathleen Ballard Photography is donating her time to capture the bunch; a similar photo was taken of the babies in the Friday Harbor High School Class of 2006 (see photo, courtesy of Kathleen Ballard Photography).

If you would like to purchase a copy of this year’s photo, come to the photo shoot with a check made payable to Kathleen Ballard Photography. Prices are $19.40 for an 8 by 12 or $12.94 for a 5 by 7.

This photo shoot will be a busy place and need to happen quickly. To help keep the short event organized, contact Alisa Schoultz in advance at 378-4102 or scott_alisa@hotmail.com and plan to arrive promptly at 10 a.m. the day of the photo.

Most children are 5 when they start kindergarten. If your baby was born slightly before Sept. 1, 2008 and there is a chance you will wait to start your child in kindergarten when he/she is 6, join the shoot. Likewise, if your baby was born just after Aug. 31, 2009 and you think you might apply for an exception for early enrollment, also come to the photo shoot.

Most babies in the photo shoot will be 5 to 17 months old on Feb. 27, 2010.
