The San Juan Island Historical Museum is sponsoring an afternoon sailing tour aboard the famous Spike Africa wooden schooner on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Gary Gero of Schooners North, owner of the 80-foot wooden gaff-rigged schooner, donated the schooner, with crew, for this special charter. All proceeds benefit the Historical Museum.

Tickets are $50 per person, and availability is limited to 27 persons. The schooner departs and returns to Spring Street Landing Docks.

Boarding ticket holders receive a 15 percent discount coupon for Sunday Brunch at Cask and Schooner Restaurant on the same day of the sail.

For tickets, contact San Juan Historical Museum at 360-378-3949; or by visiting the Museum office at 405 Price Street during regular business hours; online at sjmuseum.org/events.

Will-call tickets can be picked up at the dock on the day of the sail.
