No leash law in gravel pit park? Try a yellow ribbon | Letters

Isn’t the gravel pit under the leash law anyway? Why are people letting their dogs off leash there anyway? Unless… perhaps it is now a “Dog Park?"

There is an “Editorial” in today’s paper (Jan. 29, “Disrespect puts gravel pit park at risk”). about the gravel pit, relating to respect and dog protocol.

Isn’t the gravel pit under the leash law anyway? Why are people letting their dogs off leash there anyway? Unless… perhaps it is now a “Dog Park?”

Also a suggestion for the writer of the letter: yellow ribbons tied on a dog’s collar and/or leash, or harness signifies a potentially aggressive dog. It acts as a warning flag, though this may not be universally known…Thank you.
