Basketball season nears its ends with wins and losses for all four teams

The Friday Harbor Wolverines took on the Coupeville Wolves at home on May 22.

The boys varsity team beat Coupeville 52-51. On May 24, the boys played Concrete at home, winning 60-9. Then, on May 27, the team traveled to Mount Vernon Christian, losing 89-75. The next game for the boys varsity team is 3 p.m., June 1 at home against Orcas Island.

The girls varsity team lost to Coupeville 38-26. On May 24, the girls beat the Concrete Lions at home 53-32. Then, on May 27, the girls traveled to Mount Vernon Christian, losing to the Hurricanes 60-22. The team’s next game is a home game against Orcas at 1:30 p.m., June 1.

The boys junior varsity team played Coupeville on May 22 as well, winning 57-46. ON May 27, the team took on the MVC Hurricanes, losing 56-37. The next game for the boys JV is 1:30 p.m., June 1 at home against Orcas Island.

The girls junior varsity lost to Coupeville at home on May 22, 36-10. The team’s next game is 3 p.m., June 1 at home against Orcas.
