The flu bug put a major hurt on the Grace Academy golf team. They had to cancel as only a couple players were able to travel to the game on San Juan on March 15. Instead, the Wolverines had an inter-squad match. The team was split into two groups; purple against the gold. Nine played on each side, and the low five players were counted.

Team purple: Dylan 42, Ethan 62, Ian 49, Weston 55, Sean 55: total 263.

Team gold: Levi 54, Peter 48, Julian 60, Ben 54, Chase 55, total 271.

The team has only been playing golf for two weeks and they are improving really fast. The team has some really talented athletes this year. Having the sun come out has been a real bonus. They take on Orcas on Tuesday, March 20. It will be fun to see how the guys deal with the twins. The coach expects them both to shoot in the 40s. It’s always fun to watch them play.
