Wolverines’ boys soccer win

The Friday Harbor Wolverines and Orcas Vikings boys soccer teams went head-to-head the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 10, in a fast-paced exciting game.

The goalies on both teams had a tough job and saved their teams multiple times throughout the game. Toward the end of the first half, Friday Harbor sophomore Nick Herko was able to score, and though Orcas fought hard, the Vikings were unable to get past the goalkeeper, Friday Harbor senior Zak Porter. The final score was 1-0.

Friday Harbor’s boy’s soccer plays Cedar Park Christians in Bothell Thursday, their next home game will be against St. George Saturday, Oct. 14, at 11: 15 a.m. on the John O. Linde Fields.
