About 15 years ago, when I was on the town Planning Commission Farhad Ghatan was the chairman.

I was very impressed with his understanding of complicated municipal issues and his ability to get the commission’s work done in a dignified and inclusive way.

While he has been involved in many other important volunteer efforts lately, as a pilot, chef and pianist, I’m pleased to see him wanting to get back into town government.

He is an excellent choice for town council on the current primary ballot.
