New hours at ‘Democracy Corner’; endorsements by SJC Dems

Democracy Corner, headquarters of the local Democratic party, is open six days a week, but with new hours beginning in August.

The Corner, located on Spring Street, next to Marilyn’s Garden Path Cafe, will be open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, except Wednesdays. Democracy Corner will close during the four-day run of the county Fair, Aug. 15-18, as its volunteers take up residence at the Democratic party’s booth at the Fair.

The county Democratic Central Committee recently released its endorsements for the Aug. 7 primary, which include: candidates Jay Inslee, Maria Cantwell, Rick Larsen and Kevin Ranker. For more SJC Democratic party endorsements, www.sjdemocrats.org.
