Contra at the Grange

The third Saturday contra dance at the Grange Hall in Friday Harbor happens Saturday, Feb. 16 from 7-9 p.m..

This month the caller is Gwen Rousseau from Seattle, and the band is The Luddite Ramblers, also from Seattle. The band features Laurel Stone on fiddle, Jay Finkelstein on guitar and Craig Shaw on flute, fife and whistle.

As always with contra dance, all the dances are taught, you don’t need to bring a partner, nor do you need to have any contra dance experience.

this event is by donation, suggested $10 at the door or $5 for students.
