Amidst strong wind gusts and sheets of penetrating rain, the mighty Wolverines shut out the La Conner Braves on their home field on Thursday, Nov. 1.

Friday Harbor now faces the Concrete Lions at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6 at La Conner High School in a state-qualifying mini-playoff. Both teams tied for first place in the Northwest 1B and 2B League with league records of 3-1. The Wolverines are 6-3 and the Lions are 4-6.

The winner of the two-quarter game on Nov. 6 advances to the 2B State Tournament and will take on top-seeded Adna on Nov. 9 or 10.
