The Port of Friday Harbor will celebrate the completion of its new bulkhead project Friday, May 1, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Spring Street Landing, beginning at 3 p.m.

A brief tour of the bulkhead will follow.

Installation of the $1.5 million bulkhead, which will serve, in part, as foundation of a new Spring Street Landing building, was recently completed by local contractor Mike Carlson Enterprises.
