Pen Point gunnels, striped perch and sculpins were among the many marine creatures collected by a team of University of Washington graduates students Wednesday, July 11, at Jackson’s Beach.

Study of bounty netted during Wednesday’s field work will be part of the curriculum of a graduate course, entitled “Functional Morphology and Ecology of Marine Fish”, at Friday Harbor Labs.
