Junior James Guard tied for eighth place in the 113 pound weight class after pinning Northwest Christian’s wrestler in 41 seconds in the first round. Guard was defeated in the next match but went on to win again in the consolation bracket’s second round.

Juniors Jesse Payne in the 120 division and Hunter Rustad at 170, also attended the tournament but we’re eliminated in the second round. They both gained valuable experience, according to coach Taine Pyle.
