The temperature may have been below 30 degrees, but that did not stop the ladies from lining up at Ace Hardware’s “Ladies Night,” Dec. 14 in Friday Harbor. Along with food and wine, and many prize-winning opportunities, The Journal also had a table with a raffle to win a free Journal subscription and a Dell laptop, donated by The Journal.

The winners were drawn the following day. Shella Martin was the Dell laptop winner, and Gail Kielty won the year-long Journal subscription, which has a circulation of 1,830.
