Matthew Laslo’s Magic Now is Saturday, Aug. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the San Juan Community Theatre’s Whittier Theatre. Tickets are $15 at www.sjctheatre.org.

Laslo is excited to make his annual return to the San Juan Community Theatre with new illusions and stories from his travels.

Born on Orcas, Laslo is 17-years-old and locals fondly remember him as “Matthew the Magician.” Laslo made his national television debut on CW network’s “Penn and Teller: Fool Us” and impressed Penn and Teller with his originality and showmanship. In 2018, he was invited to perform for China’s “The Amazing Magicians.”
