The visual art of local artist Osha Breez is currently featured at the San Juan Community Theater. While the show, which runs from April 1-30, includes photography, drawing and brush painting from previous periods, it is made up primarily of Breez’s current body of work — an array of pour paintings.
The inspiration behind these paintings comes from the natural world — the seasons, the sky and water, plants and birds — and from a lifelong fascination with color. These bright and bold works fill the lobby of the theater with life and movement.
The lobby is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 1-4 p.m., on Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and during all performances. The artist reception will take place Sunday, April 14, 5-7 p.m. Please join us for refreshments and the vibrant art of Osha Breez!
