Griffin Bay Bookstore welcomes you to hear Shari Lane on her new mystery novel, Two Over Easy All Day Long, on Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m. in the bookstore café at 155 Spring Street in Friday Harbor.

Lane lives on Lopez Island, where she serves on the board of trustees of the Lopez Library. Shari’s stories have appeared in Evening Street Review, Adelaide, Antithesis, Cape Magazine, and others.

When his company’s negligence results in tragedy, the judge sentences the defendant to a year of community supervised work at Sunnyside Up, a local diner. When the cook finds a dead body in the dumpster, Tony and the other misfits working at the restaurant soon become suspects; they will eventually work together to figure out “whodunnit.” But Two Over Easy All Day Long isn’t a murder mystery; it’s a human mystery, asking how far a person can bend before breaking, and whether breaking isn’t the point, after all.
