Antidepressants versus society | Letter

As you probably know, our world is in a prescription crisis.

When a family has a genetic disposition of mental illness, medication is needed in certain circumstances; the problem is finding the right one.

Knowing from experience, myself, trying a new antidepressant on the market like you see on TV and in magazines, ‘Maybe they found a better one now,’ so you think to yourself.

Not knowing the side effects, the distributor or the manufacturer does not tell the whole truth. They’re only in it for the money.

Tapering off the drug is the only way out of the insanity and hellish, debilitating withdrawal effects you will encounter.

Please do the research when you decide to use antidepressants.
