The Friday Harbor Varsity Wolverines hosted the Orcas Island Vikings in Turnbull Gym Friday, Jan. 31. The Lady Wolverines stayed close in points to the Lady Vikings until the 4th quarter when the Vikings pulled several points ahead and took the win 46-31.
The Wolverine boys varsity took charge right away and kept the Vikings at bay. Most of the game the Wolverines had a lead of 10 points or more. It was a tough fought contest with the Wolverines coming away with the win and a score of 53-47.
They took on Darrington Tuesday, Feb. 4. The lady Wolverines won 39-25, and the boys lost 39—30. The next game will be Friday, Feb. 7 against La Conner in La Conner.
