How is your summer so far? I can hardly believe we’re nearly through July. We’re more than halfway through the Library’s Summer Reading Program, and there’s still plenty of time to join the fun! Whether you’ve been reading along all summer or are just getting started, there’s something for everyone, including chances to win fun prizes. Stop by the Library or visit us online to pick up your reading log and explore new stories. Summer’s not over yet, so come bring a little more color to your world!

Additionally, we wanted to thank all those who contributed materials to our Arts & Crafting Swap! Thanks to the generosity of many, the swap has been very successful. Kids and adults alike have been inspired by what is available and have taken something to assist in their creative journey. If you haven’t stopped by yet, come see it soon! The Arts & Crafting Swap still has many freely available materials, and will end on August 1st.

Finally, if you’re hip-deep in preparing a few entries for the San Juan County Fair (just like I am), make sure you also visit us at our library booth! We’re planning for lots of fun, and we’ll be excited to see you there!
