Patrick W. Davis | Jan. 11, 2019

Patrick W. Davis passed away peacefully on Jan. 11, 2019, in Arizona, surrounded by loved ones, after a long hard-fought battle with lung cancer.

He was born June 12, 1955, to Gordon and Margaret Davis in Van Nuys, California.

He married Dawn Causley in 1974; they divorced in 2006.

Pat grew up in Southern California, and they moved to Friday Harbor, Washington, in 1982 where they owned and operated a Sears store. In 1986 they opened Downriggers restaurant. Pat sold the restaurant in 1990. They moved to Port Angeles to open a second Downriggers restaurant. Pat sold the restaurant in 2018 and moved to Arizona, where he planned to enjoy retirement by golfing, traveling, playing in poker tournaments, or as he called it, “the office,” having cocktails on the patio and honing his cooking skills.

He is survived by his partner Vonnie McKnight, ex-wife Dawn Davis, sisters Debra (Brad) Condon, Patti (Jim) Olesen, 1 niece, two nephews and three great nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in Port Angeles in the spring.
