Frank H Brame | Passages

12/12/24 – 11/16/21

Frank set out on his final flight on the early morning of 11/16/21 with wife Sandra, his copilot of 65 years, at his side. His life centered around airplanes and, as an aeronautical engineer, he led an exciting and varied life in both military and commercial aircraft design and development in both Canada and U.S.A. As a private pilot, he owned and/or flew a variety of single-engine aircraft both land and floats across U.S.A., Canada, and Mexico. As a sailplane pilot, he achieved many goals and as the Canadian Champion, he represented Canada at the World Contest in France in 1956. Frank also enjoyed multiple outdoor activities which he shared with Sandra, his daughters, and later his granddaughter. That is, everything but the running!

The love of family was the core of Frank’s life and he took great pride and joy in his twin daughters and granddaughter and in the outstanding women that they have become. And forever in the center of the core, was Sandra. He leaves behind wife Sandra, daughters Wynne Brame, Wendie Meissner, son-in-law Gary Meissner, and granddaughter Brittany Meissner. Frank was a steadfast friend, a man of honor and integrity — a true gentleman.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at a later date.
