Updated election results for school board director and public hospital commissioners

The latest numbers of the Nov. 3 General Election were counted Nov. 10, and counted a total of 6,938 ballots, a voter turnout of 56.98 percent.

San Juan Island School District school board director 4 position is led by John Kurtz at 51.66 percent, with 1,307 votes, and Peter Lane at 48.34 percent with 1,223 votes.

San Juan County Public Hospital District commissioner position 2 is led by Barbara Sharp at 62.14 percent with 2,060 votes, opposing candidate Michelle Loftus has 37.86 percent and 1,255 votes.

SJCPHD commissioner position 3 is led by Monica Harrington at 58.4 percent and 1,933 votes, with competitor Jenny Ledford at 41.6 percent and 1,377 votes.

Bill Williams leads for commissioner position 5 with 60.78 percent and 2,001 votes, with competitor William E. Hancock at 1,291 and 39.22 percent.
