Third annual Chili Cook-off, one hot competition

Will the SJISD Food for Thought reign as victors for the third year in a row? Or will last year's runner-up, Cask and Schooner, crush the defending champs like red pepper? Find out Saturday, Oct. 11, at Brickworks Plaza, 3:30 p.m.

The competition reheats at the third annual Chili Cook-off, Saturday, Oct. 11, 3:30 p.m. at Brickworks.

In addition to the scorching stew, the event features the local artist’s Art Market, live music by the Rocky Bay Boy’s and a beer garden.

Sourcing ingredients locally and dishing up their best meat and vegetarian chili’s, seven of your favorite neighborhood chef’s will compete for the title of chili champion.

Taste the heat then cool off with a local beer, wine or hard cider in the beer garden. The event costs $16 for adults, and $10 for children. Entry to the Art Market and beer garden is free.
