Local realtors bestowed a double dose of generosity last week on a pair of island non-profits known for taking care of those in need.

The San Juan Island Family Resource Center and the Friday Harbor Food Bank each received a $500 check as a donation by the San Juan County Association of Realtors.

San Juan Island’s Bette Cantrell, president of the realtors association, presented checks to the Food Bank and Family Resource Center Nov. 16 as part of the association annual holiday season donation drive.
