Sheriff Ron Krebs will be in the spotlight in a town hall discussion sponsored by the San Juan Island chapter of Friends of the Constitution.

Co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the San Juans, the town hall is Saturday, April 4, 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Grange Hall in Friday Harbor.

Krebs began his tenure as San Juan County sheriff at the start of year following a decisive victory in the November election. He will discuss his philosophy of law enforcement and interpretations of the duties and responsibilities of an elected peace officer, and how the community can help facilitate the efforts of the sheriff’s department.
