Participate in the Town’s Food Truck survey

Submitted by the Town of Friday Harbor.

The Town of Friday Harbor is considering an ordinance to allow mobile food units (food trucks).

The public was invited to the Planning Commission’s meeting in March to determine how the community would receive this new type of activity. The public that participated was in overwhelming support. Community Development wants a broader opinion of how this may impact our community, existing businesses and downtown core before considering rules and regulations. The information gathered will be helpful in determining which limitations to put in place for a pilot program and future ordinance.

The Town of Friday Harbor wants to hear from you! You can share your ideas with us right now by completing our Food Truck Survey. The survey will be open until June 30.

Comments may also be submitted directly to Town Hall at 60 Second Street South; by mail: Town of Friday Harbor, Community Development Department, P.O. Box 219, Friday Harbor, WA 98250; or by email to permits@fridayharbor.org; please include “Food Truck Survey” in the subject line.
