The Islands Energy Coalition (Lopez) and Transition Lopez Island will host an OPALCO candidates forum for District 3 on Thursday, April 7 at 5 p.m. at Grace Hall on Lopez Island.

The following members are running for the two open OPALCO Board of Director District 3 (Lopez, Decatur, Center and Charles Islands) positions for 2016: Brian Silverstein, Dwight Lewis, Jim Lett (incumbent), and Lauren Stephens.

This will be an interactive and informative session. OPALCO will send ballots out on April 8. A significant number of voters return their ballots within the first week. Therefore the Lopez forum will be held on April 7 so that you can learn more about the candidates prior to casting your vote.
