The San Juan Islands Museum of Art and Sculpture Park is looking for a new director.

Jennifer Elise, the current director, came to IMA in March from Las Vegas, with a background as an artist, art teacher, and founding Board Member of the Las Vegas Art Museum.

She is leaving IMA to pursue other interests, in addition to her portraiture work.

During her time she has been responsible Steve Harrold, Kurt Wenner, and Ann Walbert Exhibitions at the Museum. She has involved more children and families with tours and art displays that have been added to the IMA venue at both the elementary and secondary levels. She has also been responsible for new ways of engaging youths through coloring books and other activities.
