Lyshall tapped to lead Conservation District

A former marine programs coordinator for San Juan County, Linda Lyshall resume also includes serving as ecosystem recovery coordinator with the Puget Sound Partnership and with the Puget Sound Action Team in the Office of the Governor.

The San Juan Islands Conservation District’s Board of Supervisors has unanimously appointed Linda Lyshall, Ph.D., as District Manager.

Lyshall served previously as marine programs coordinator for San Juan County, ecosystem recovery coordinator with the Puget Sound Partnership and with the Puget Sound Action Team in the Office of the Governor.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington, a  Master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Natural Resource Management from the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington, and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Change from Antioch University.

The San Juan Islands Conservation District is a local non-regulatory organization committed to protecting and enhancing the San Juan County ecosystems.
