Find out how the mechanisms of local government work and how you might become more involved in civic and community affairs at a free seminar sponsored by San Juan County Economic Development Council.

Entitled, “Local Government 101,” the seminar will be led by Duncan Wilson, Town of Friday Harbor administrator and experienced attorney in municipal affairs. The presentation, Wednesday, Nov. 12, begins at 11 a.m. at the town council chambers.
