Learn “What You Need to Understand About Our Ferry System” with the League of Women Voters, noon, Feb. 13, at the library.
The speaker will be Lopez Island resident Tom Cowan, recently appointed by Governor Christine Gregoire to a six-year term on the State Transportation commission. Cowan is also chair of the County Land Bank Commission and a former county commissioner.
