This month’s Know your Island Walk is Sat. Sept. 24, 1 p.m.

Meet and park at Skagit Valley College parking lot for a three mile hike from the airport to boat harbor to Jackson’s Beach and back to the airport.

Marilyn O’Conner, director of the Port of Friday Harbor, will lead this “Walk the Port.”

The terrain is mainly sidewalks and pavement. The difficulty rating is moderate.
