Judicial candidate Sanders to court voters in Friday Harbor

Sanders, a former state Supreme Court justice, is seeking to return to the bench after being defeated by 13,000 votes in 2010. He previously served 15 years on the court.

State Supreme Court candidate Richard Sanders will speak at the Mullis Center Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m.

Sanders, a former state Supreme Court justice, is seeking to return to the bench after being defeated by 13,000 votes in 2010. He previously served 15 years on the court. Sanders is supported by attorneys, property rights advocates and gun owners. He is opposed by Seattle attorney Sheryl Gordon McCloud.
