Island Lights Festival brings holiday spirit to Friday Harbor | Slideshow

Santa arrived and turned the lights on, followed by more caroling before heading up to Brickworks for chestnuts on the open fire

The San Juan Island Chamber of Commerce’s Island Light Festival was on Dec. 4. The evening started with an Open House and ornament making, 3:30-5 p.m., at the Whale Museum.

At 5 p.m. the Elementary School Choir, led by Joshua Boland, led caroling from the Whale Museum down to Memorial Park for more caroling with the Island Chordsman Plus led by Angel Michaels.

Santa arrived and turned the lights on, followed by more caroling before heading up to Brickworks for chestnuts on the open fire, crafts with Island Rec, Animal Shelter Giving tree, cocoa, photos with Santa and more.
