San Juan County Community Planning and Development and the San Juan Islands Conservation District sponsors “Drainage 101: Learn How to protect your property” is Friday, Nov. 18, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., at the Grange.

The workshop’s general concept is to mimic natural hydrologic processes by protecting soils, amending soils, planting native plants that can tolerate local conditions and directing runoff into small scale facilities.
