Crime novelist; at Griffin Bay

A classic whodunit with stunning Pacific Northwest imagery, suspense, and even a love triangle composes this tale of a man seeking simplicity, and finding mystique.

Oregon author Warren Easely will be at Griffin Bay Bookstore, Sept. 27, 2-4 p.m. to introduce and discuss his latest Cal Claxton mystery, “Dead Float.” Fly fishing, river rafting and Oregon wine country make up the scenery of this murderous tale.

The protagonist, once a high-profile L.A. prosecutor, is determined to reinvent himself. Living in an old farmhouse overlooking miles of vineyards, he works as a small town lawyer. When asked to assist a friend guiding a group of executives on the Deschutes River, the company’s CEO is murdered. Who better to solve the crime than the inquisitive Cal Claxton?
