Monday, June 29, the County Parks Department will open its doors at the new office located on the southwest corner of fairgrounds main building, near the fairgrounds front gate entrance.

During the move from the County Legislative Building on Thursday afternoon and Friday, June 25 and 26, the Parks office will be closed to walk-in services, but will be available by phone and email.

The move is the next to the last step in the Parks & Fair departments’ consolidation that began in late 2010.  Through this summer, all fair and fairgrounds events and activities will still be coordinated by fairgrounds staff from the trailer by the south gate.
