Community theater’s plans for COVID-19 cancelations and potential closure

Submitted by San Juan Community Theatre

San Juan Community Theatre is currently encouraging volunteers and staff to wash hands frequently and stay home if feeling ill. At any time, if the Health & Community Services Department recommends the closing of schools due to coronavirus, SJCT will close as well for the duration of that time.

Following any such closure, SJCT will implement any recommendations by the Health & Community Services Department for disinfecting the building.

Performances during the time that SJCT is closed will be canceled.

If possible, we will work with the presenting artists to reschedule once SJCT is open again.

Tickets will automatically be transferred to rescheduled performances.

In the event that rescheduling is impossible OR if a patron cannot attend the new performance date(s), a full refund will be issued.

SJCT partners with many community organizations who are choosing to postpone or cancel their performances at this time. Here are some updates to the SJCT schedule. Please see below regarding ticket purchases/refunds.

Canceled: March 13 and 14 performances of The San Juan Singers

At this time, we are hopeful of rescheduling these concerts at a later date in the season. If rescheduling is possible, tickets will be automatically shifted from one performance to the other.

In the event that rescheduling is impossible, SJCT will provide full refunds at our box office—please bring in your physical ticket or receipt if you purchased online.

In the event that you have a ticket but are unable to attend the rescheduled performance, please present your ticket at the box office prior to the rescheduled performance for a full refund.

Unused tickets will not be accepted for a refund following the rescheduled performances.
