‘Boo’: Halloween candy donation drive? Because Gummy Bears don’t grow on trees

The Kiwanis Club's candy donation drive helps ensure there's plenty of yummy stuff to go around in the high-traffic neighborhoods visited by all those ghouls, goblins, faeries and ghosts on Halloween.

The Kiwanis Club of Friday Harbor is collecting Halloween candy to be distributed to the neighborhoods with the highest traffic of trick-or-treaters.

Look for large well-marked bins at Marketplace and Friday Harbor drugstore to help add to the candy donation.

Kiwanis also purchases a large amount of candy to distribute to high-traffic neighborhoods right before Halloween as well.
