Blood drives scheduled for March 4 and 5

Information provided by BloodWorks

Every day, patients in hospitals rely on the generosity of blood donors to help them through critical medical situations. Whether it’s for surgeries, treatments for cancer, or emergency care, the need for blood donations is constant and urgent.

Please consider taking part in this life-saving effort. If you’d like to learn more about blood donation or if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Hannah Mc Nutt, Community Engagement Liasion, directly, via phone at 425-299-2513

or email at HannahM@BloodworksNW.org.

Together, everyone can help ensure that no one must face a medical emergency without the support they need. Thank you for considering this opportunity to give back.

Donating blood is a simple yet powerful act of kindness. Blood cannot be made in the lab. It can only come from willing donors like yourself. Nervous about donating? That’s normal! Visit https://bloodworksnw.org/donate/need-to-know/frequently-asked-questions to learn more.

Here’s how you can help:

BloodWorks will be at the Mullis Center on San Juan Island March 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at the Orcas Center March 5 from 9 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.. Go to https://donate.bloodworksnw.org/donor/schedules/geo to schedule an appointment.

The lucky winner will be contacted by email on or about April 15. They will have 48 hours to accept the offer.
