Oliver Thomas Greenwood was born May 7 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.

He is the son of Lynnwood’s Donald and Samantha Greenwood, the couple’s first child, and a descendent of Lopez Island’s Greenwood family. He is the great great-grandson of John Henry Greenwood, who homesteaded on Lopez during the frontier era.

Oliver shares a birthday with his great grandmother, the late Evelyn Greenwood, wife of the late Charles Greenwood. He is also the grandson of Charlie Greenwood, of Arlington. He was born at 2:44 p.m., and weighed six pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 20 1/2 inches at birth.
