This year’s Three Lakes Triathalon and San Juan Island Marathon held at Lakedale Resort featured a friendly competition that took participants through beautiful terrain on San Juan Island. According to Paul Hopkins, race director, the winner Akiko Tsuchida is the first woman in 13 years to get first place overall in the marathon times. Each race finished off with a barbecue, awards, and a nice view of the lakes.
