Nation wide organization Mended Hearts, a support group for people pre or post surgical heart procedures, will have it’s first San Juan Islands chapter meeting April 23, 10 a.m., at the Peace Island Medical Center conference room.

The get together is for heart patients and caregivers. The meeting will be a general discussion about Mended Hearts and how it can be beneficial to people dealing with heart related diseases.

Although the meeting is on San Juan, people from all islands are invited and encouraged to attend.
