Join San Juan Islands Prepare on Sunday, May 4 at 4 p.m. for our next San Juan Islands Prepare meeting. Your invitation with details is attached. Everyone is welcome.

Our special guest speakers are Sue Stabley and Maude Cumming, who will talk about the National Crisis Response Canines. Their dogs will be with them for a meet and greet.

We will also have a brief update about the “Prepares” business model that was gifted to us by Scott James, founder of Bainbridge Prepares (voted the most prepared town in Washington).

We will customize this model to conform to our demographics and socioeconomic statistics to ensure that everyone is included and nobody is left behind in our comprehensive citizen preparedness plan (Ohana).

Please bring a dish to share, a chair or blanket and a few friends! We will have great music, dinner, followed by thoughtful discussions about how we can increase citizen participation and plan for mutual aid in the San Juan Islands.
