Several hundred islanders took to the courthouse on Labor Day for another Indivisible San Juan Island-sponsored protest.
The event lasted from noon to 2 p.m. and included a march down Spring Street that began just after 1 p.m.
Speakers included former military members who discussed the current administration’s use of the National Guard, and urged citizens to contact representatives and governors to coordinate with the National Guard Commanders to stand in solidarity in understanding roles and what is legal and ethical, and to educate their troops on the same.
Indivisible San Juan will be holding a One Million Rising event at the Grange Sept. 11 from 5:30- 7:30 p.m.
