The Trashion Fashion Show, Saturday on the Main Sage at 5 p.m. Aug. 19., Is calling your name! Be there or be square!

Francie Hansen is doing it again, for the 14th time and wants you to try your hand, heart, head and body at creating yourself an outfit using something you would normally throw away but have held on to for its intrinsic “value.”

If you’re shy to model or walk the runway, we will find you a someone to strut your stuff. There is a very supportive crowd who cheers you on!

The San Juan Island community is rich with spirit and ingenuity and kindness. We all want to have fun!

There is a mandatory rehearsal on Monday, Aug. 14. The “outfit” does not have to be finished until showtime, Aug. 19.

Oh, and think of the music you want to move to.

“I’m excited to see you all either on stage or in the crowd. Be ready to catch my bouquet. This is a “couture show” don’t ya know!” said Francie.
